Job summary

Impact Workforce Solutions is seeking a Stand-up Forklift Operator in Concord, NC for a full-time third-shift role (Sun–Thu, 11pm–7am). Pay range is $19–$21/hr based on experience, with PTO, holidays, and health insurance benefits.

Responsibilities include stocking, moving materials, packaging, and maintaining orderly staging areas. Strong attention to safety and 5S, forklift certification, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3 months manufacturing experience; forklift experience preferred.
• Must have basic English literacy and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and cycle count floor stock using scales.
• Handle and stage materials to/from presses, assembly, packaging and storage areas.
• Assemble or pack as required.
• Dispose of trash and corrugation for departments.
• Follow direction of Process Tech/Lead for material flow priorities.
• Use Kanban to prioritize material replenishment.
• Clean, load and unload hoppers/granulators as needed.
• Change colors when switching part colors.
• Maintain raw material inventory and scrap reports.
• Move finished goods as required.
• Assist with changeovers.
• May run labels and print production travelers; order supplies.
• Prioritize and order parts from presses as needed.
• May kit and set up work cells; responsible for first piece.
• Maintain inventory and records; research materials.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping; eliminate non-conformance.
• All other duties as directed by Supervisor.

Stand-up Forklift Operator in Concord, NC

Shift: 3rdshift (Sunday - Thursday 11pm - 7am)

Pay Rate: $19.00-21.00 per hour (based on experience)

Role: Supply workstations and machines with basic supplies and product for packaging and maintain floor stock neat and clean in staging areas.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and cycle count floor stock - using scales
• Handle, stage and maintain flow of all materials to and from machines presses, assembly and packaging areas, rework areas and storage racks.
• Assemble or pack as required.
• Responsible for disposing of trash and corrugation for departments.
• Follow direction of the area Process Tech, Set up or Lead Person for guidance in prioritizing material flow to and from work centers.
• Utilize Kanban system to determine priorities concerning materials replenishment.
• Clean, load and unload hoppers, granulators as required.
• Change colors as needed when going from one part color to another.
• Maintain accurate raw material inventory, print and fill out scrap reports.
• Move finish goods as required
• Assist with changeovers.
• May run labels, print production travelers and order supplies as needed.
• May prioritize and order parts from presses as needed.
• May kit, set up work cells, responsible for first piece.
• Maintain accurate inventory and records. Capable of researching materials needed.
• Maintain high level of housekeeping to 5 S Standards.
• Total responsibility to eliminate non-conformance within quality of products.
• All other duties as directed by the Supervisor

Profile:

• Education: High school degree or GED preferred.
• Experience: Minimum three months manufacturing experience. Prefer fork-lift experience.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
