Job summary

Full Steam Staffing LLC in Porterville, CA is hiring a Forklift Driver to safely operate sit-down, stand-up, and other forklifts to load, unload, and move materials. You will perform pre-shift safety checks and help maintain inventory accuracy using RF scanners and WMS.

The role requires 1–2 years of forklift experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to obtain certification if needed. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and a dependable commute are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of verified forklift driver experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to pass company certification upon hire.
• Proficient in using RF scanners and operating warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or cherry picker forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight from trailers and shipping containers.
• Transport raw materials and finished products to designated storage bays or production lines.
• Perform daily pre-operation vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Stack, palletize, and store goods while maximizing vertical storage space.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF equipment and warehouse management systems.
• Follow OSHA regulations, warehouse safety protocols, and company rules.
