Job summary

Staffmark is hiring for a Forklift Operator in Perris, CA. You will safely operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts to move, load, unload, and store materials while maintaining accurate inventory records.

You will also scan products, process transactions, and support shipping, receiving, and cycle counts in a fast-paced warehouse. Minimum 2 years forklift experience, high school diploma or GED, and forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain forklift operator certification.
• Basic computer and data entry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach trucks to move, load, unload, and store materials.
• Transport products to designated warehouse locations and staging areas.
• Scan products, process inventory transactions, and print shipping labels.
• Perform product rotation and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Complete cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Operate warehouse management and inventory control systems.
• Complete all required shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections using required safety checklists.
• Maintain compliance with company safety standards, food safety requirements, and customer quality expectations.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, and workplace incidents to leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready warehouse environment.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations as assigned.
