Qualifications

• Experience using RF scanners and basic warehouse tracking systems.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Load and unload materials from trailers, flatbeds, and containers.
• Transport goods between production, staging, and storage areas.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report safety issues.
• Use RF scanners to verify inventory locations and update tracking systems.
• Secure pallets and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
• Follow OSHA regulations and warehouse safety protocols.

Job Description

Full Steam Staffing is hiring safety-conscious and reliable Forklift Operators to join our fast-paced warehouse and logistics team in Fresno, CA. In this role, you will safely operate industrial forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stage freight and materials across the facility to support day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts
• Load and unload materials from incoming and outgoing trailers, flatbeds, and containers
• Transport goods, raw materials, and finished pallets between production, staging, and storage areas
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment and immediately report any maintenance or safety issues
• Utilize RF scanners to scan barcodes, verify inventory locations, and update tracking systems
• Secure and shrink-wrap pallets to ensure loads are stable and safe for transport
• Follow all OSHA regulations, warehouse safety protocols, and standard operating procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area

Schedule

Schedule: Available Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available Workdays: Monday Friday

Requirements

• Mandatory overtime and weekend shifts required based on operational needs
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 1 year of verified forklift operation experience in a warehouse or distribution center
• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to successfully pass onsite certification)
• Experience using RF scanners and basic warehouse tracking systems
• Strong spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and a strict focus on workplace safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit/stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse environment
• Reliable transportation and a dependable record of punctual attendance
