- Reports To:
- Description:
- Performs routine duties required to store, record and ship component parts or finished goods to customers and other destinations as required. Performs a variety of activities requiring communication and support to other departments and performs other work-related activities as required.
- Responsibilities:
- Compares identification and counts, weighs and measures items of outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and records.
- Pulls, unpacks and examines outgoing shipments, records damaged items, reports damages and shortages.
- May operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, cranes or other material handling equipment.
- Receives orders from Production Control and is responsible for filling those orders for shipment.
- Responsible for meeting established quality and quantity levels of work assigned, housekeeping and safe work practices.
- Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies.
