In the position of Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for preparing and shipping outgoing shipments. Your duties will include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders arrive, reviewing outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productivity, and documenting inventory damages. You will also place raw materials or products into manufacturing machines to support assembly, pack finished products, organize shipments, and perform quality checks on equipment and products.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Schedule shipments and plan logistics to ensure sufficient storage space for incoming items. Use a Radio Frequency (RF) scanner to pick orders from inventory locations, keeping pace with production to meet picking targets. Verify and fill customer orders, load finished goods into trailers according to purchase orders, inspect for defects, and ensure accurate shipping.
2. Receive deliveries, register them, and distribute packages and letters within the company. Maintain shipping records and reports. Troubleshoot shipping issues and resolve customer complaints effectively.
3. Position merchandise in the warehouse by packing and lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts, and organizing warehouse space to maintain inventory accuracy.
4. Ensure the proper operation of palletizing equipment, stretch wrappers, and other materials such as stretch wrap and pallets. Keep accurate records and logs as required.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in food or beverage production facilities (desired)
• 1-3 years of forklift operation experience moving solids and fluids (desired)
• Basic proficiency with Office Suite/PC
• OSHA Certified Forklift Operator (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of the English language

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
