Description

Perricone Farms, a leading citrus juice supplier located in Beaumont, CA, is seeking aForklift Operatorto join our team. This is fast-paced position which offers long-term, consistent employment with a competitive benefits package, including but not limited to Health, Vision, Dental, Life and 401K.

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour + $1 Differential

Shift / Hours:2nd Shift; Monday - Friday @ 3:00pm to 11:30pm, possible weekend work (If needed)

Summary of Functions:

As aForklift Operator, you will be responsible for providing forklift support to all departments by performing the following duties:

  • Operate a sit-down forklift within the plant, navigating tight spaces, moving pallets, and working both indoors and outdoors.
  • Unload trailers with fruit bins upon arrival.
  • Organize products in the east lot for easy identification and processing.
  • Supply bins, tri-walls, or boxes of fruit to the grading line for extraction.
  • Load and unload products onto trailers for vendor pick-up.
  • Transport both empty and full drums to the conveyor at the drum fill station.
  • Move drums to the conveyor at the drum chopper station.
  • Provide additional forklift services to various departments as required.
  • Keep track of inventory, including bins, tri-walls, and loads on-site.

Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
  • Responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards.

Organizational Relationships:

  • Position reports to Operation Manager
  • Direct reports to this position are: None
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Forklift and Pallet Jack certification.
  • Spanish is a plus.
