Job summary

Novares Group in Howell, MI seeks a reliable Forklift Operator for a 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. shift. You will move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies, supporting production and shipping while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year forklift experience in manufacturing/warehouse settings, with a strong safety and quality mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift operating experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution.
• Able to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products.
• Supply production lines with raw materials and remove finished goods.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities, including verifying quantities and documentation.
• Inspect forklifts before each shift and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions using scanners, computer systems, or paperwork.
• Ensure proper storage of materials and adherence to inventory control procedures.
• Follow all OSHA, company safety, and quality standards.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and production environment.
• Support other warehouse and manufacturing duties as assigned.

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing team from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility while supporting production and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

• Ability to sit and operate equipment for extended periods.
