Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move and transfer materials and finished goods in a high volume production environment with accuracy and accountability.
• Follow established standard processes and procedures; maintain safety as a primary focus.
• Follow all Critical Safety Rules, Standards of Conduct, and plant and company practices, procedures, and policies.
• Safely perform duties as outlined in the Operations Lift Truck Operator standard work.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers; assist others in daily assignments and work collaboratively within a team.
• Complete assignments in a timely manner and perform daily forklift inspections.
• Support SAP functions related to inventory and load management (e.g., pick list, PGI).

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience on a stand-up or reach lift is preferred; candidates with forklift/clamp experience and willingness to learn reach truck operations will be considered.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move heavy loads with a pallet jack.
• Ability to complete Material Order Forms and read/interpret Job Dockets.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team; flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed.

Compensation & Schedule

• Starting rate $20.79 per hour plus $1.00 extra for night shift.
• Shift: 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule.
