Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Forklift Driver in Wilmington, IL. The role offers pay of $19.00–$20.00 per hour with a Wednesday 12:00 PM–6:00 PM shift and Thursday–Saturday 6:00 AM–6:00 PM. You will safely operate powered industrial equipment to move materials and support warehouse operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 6 months of warehouse or forklift experience. RF scanners and WMS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and warehouse instructions accurately.
  • Minimum 6 months of warehouse, order picking, material handling, or forklift experience.
  • Experience operating electric pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, or clamp trucks preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Operate electric pallet jacks, clamp trucks, sit-down forklifts, and stand-up forklifts to move, stage, locate, and stack products safely.
  • Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse technology.
  • Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine materials needed for fulfillment.
  • Pull, verify, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct quantity and product type are loaded.
  • Sort, organize, and stock materials on racks, shelves, and storage locations according to product codes, size, style, or other designated criteria.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, support shipping and receiving operations, and follow all safety procedures.

As a Forklift Driver you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations.
