Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse or production area.
• Load and unload trucks, and store materials in designated areas.
• Perform routine pre- and post-operational forklift inspections.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Communicate and coordinate with team members for timely task completion.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement records.
• Assist in keeping the warehouse or production floor organized and clean.
• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Adhere to company policies regarding forklift operation and safety.
• Participate in training to stay updated on best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate forklifts in narrow aisles and tight spaces.
• Physical strength and stamina for forklift operation demands.
• Attention to detail in inventory tracking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
