Job summary

RIMPORTS is seeking a Forklift Driver for our Spanish Fork, Utah facility. The role focuses on moving product, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining organized warehouse spaces.

The ideal candidate is forklift certified, detail-oriented, and reliable, with the ability to work well with others and follow directions under Supervisor guidance. Day shift, on-site position with safety-focused responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Knowledge of product and locations within the warehouse is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to sit and twist for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily forklift operations and inspections.
• Load and unload trucks and accurately load customer trucks with double checks.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean; ensure floor stock of pallets and boxes.
• Follow safety procedures and wear seatbelt at all times.
• Communicate with Managers/Supervisors on materials, priorities, and special projects.
• Assist with periodic projects and label checks as needed.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FORKLIFT DRIVER

As a Forklift Driver, you are responsible for helping move product and maintaining organization throughout the warehouse. The product mover must have strong attention to detail and knowledge of product and location.

JOB DUTIES:

Continuously:

• Perform daily inspection on forklift.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Accurately load all customers' trucks with double check.
• Keep warehouse organized and clean.
• Keep floor stocked with pallets and boxes.
• Pay attention to detail and watch for any product discrepancies/errors.
• Put away product.
• Work where assigned by Supervisor.
• Wear seatbelt and follow all safety procedures.

Periodically:

• Help with special projects as needed.
• Check all labels to ensure they are stored correctly.
• Organize and sort pallets.
• Odd sized, bad, broken, production, etc.

Communication:

• Communicate with Managers/Supervisors to know what materials are needed and priorities.
• Communicate with Shipping Foreman all priorities, project instruction, special projects, etc.
