Job summary

International Paper is hiring for a 2nd or 3rd shift full-time position at the Montgomery Box Facility in Montgomery, Illinois. You will move bundles, load trucks, and perform basic shop math, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Probationary pay starts at $23.27 per hour for 45 working days, rising to $25.03 per hour afterward. Overtime, weekends and alternate shifts may be required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must perform tasks safely and consistently.
  • Positive attitude and excellent attendance record are essential.
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Move bundles of boxes to designated locations.
  • Load trucks for timely delivery.
  • Maintain housekeeping and clean work areas.
  • Perform basic shop math and inspections.
  • Complete quality and administrative documents accurately.
  • Assist with cleaning machine areas and related sweep/blow duties.

$23.27/hr for first 45 working days (probationary period). Then $25.03/hr.

Candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends and overtime as required.

  • 2nd shift - 3:00pm to 11:00pm / 3:00pm to 3:00am / 11:00am to 11:00pm
  • 3rd shift - 11:00pm to 7:00am / 11:00pm to 11:00am / 7:00pm to 7:00am

The Job You Will Perform
  • Moving bundles of boxes to where they need to be
  • Loading trucks for delivery
  • The ability to practice housekeeping
  • Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting
  • Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions
  • This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.
