Forklift Operator

The Forklift Driver is an entry-level position within our distribution department. Responsibilities include moving stacks of product, operating pick-to-light or voice-activated equipment, filling orders, and loading/unloading trucks.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure food safety and quality standards are maintained and certified.
• Report and prevent food safety and quality issues.
• Follow procedures outlined in the Food Safety and Quality Plans, supporting SQF and third-party audits.
• Load trucks with correct product varieties and quantities.
• Know product locations and quantities on the shipping dock.
• Keep trays available and unload incoming transports.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Maintain dependable attendance.
• Must be able to lift, bend, twist, stand, and walk extensively.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Need From You:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of shipping or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to use hand trucks and other equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work around food machinery.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand and stoop for full shifts, typically 12 hours.
• Ability to work in loud, hot environments.
• Willingness to work irregular, rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
