Job summary

Staffmark Group in Ontario, CA is hiring a Material Handler Operator for the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, at $21.50 per hour. You will safely operate Reach Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and Clamp Forklifts to move, store, and organize inventory and support shipping, receiving, and production needs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, ability to follow procedures, and experience in warehouse operations, with forklift certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow warehouse procedures, safety regulations, and work instructions.
• Basic math and inventory skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Reach Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and Clamp Forklifts to move, store, and organize inventory.
• Load and unload trailers, containers, and warehouse storage locations.
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Transport materials throughout the facility to support shipping, receiving, and production needs.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and productivity standards.
• Assist with general warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving duties as needed.
