Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Material Handler in Valencia, CA, on 1st shift with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour. The role includes receiving, inspecting, and moving materials using forklifts, with SAP-based inventory tracking and strict compliance with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse/material handling experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts.
• Must wear steel-toe boots and follow safety guidelines.
• Strong data entry and inventory tracking skills, SAP experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation for accuracy.
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations with proper labeling and tracking.
• Pull, verify, and deliver materials to production lines based on work orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including receipts, usage, and returns in SAP.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to ensure accuracyRead work orders or formulas to determine required materials and quantities
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely material availability and minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs as necessary.
• Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a clean and compliant work environment.
