Job summary

Worthington Steel is seeking a Manufacturing Associate in Ohio to move material around the plant using a forklift or crane to keep production flowing. You will also package, weigh, and load/unload material, and stage items for efficient machine operation.

The role requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic, ability to follow safety policies, and basic math and computer literacy to support accurate production and quality control.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical work.
• Good hand-eye coordination and basic math skills.
• Ability to read production instructions and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Moves material around plant using forklift and/or crane for production.
• Packages finished product for shipment and tracks orders.
• Loads/unloads materials and assists with machine setup.
• Maintains safe, efficient and quality production and housekeeping as needed.
