Job summary

This role supports production and requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic to maintain safe, quality output.

You will track orders, follow bills of material for packaging, and perform housekeeping and related duties.

Qualifications

• Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work and stand for long periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Competent in basic math and able to read a tape measure.
• Able to operate banding tools and use forklift/crane safely.
• Read and follow detailed work instructions and BOMs.
• Must understand quality policy and follow safety procedures.
• 0–6 months prior experience acceptable.
• Must have OSHA safety training and forklift/crane license.

Responsibilities

• Moves material around plant using a forklift and/or crane for production, finishing, packaging, or shipping.
• Ensures areas are supplied with parts and removes finished skids to warehouse or paint line.
• Moves and stages material to optimize machine efficiency.
• Provides machine support by emptying scrap tubs and clearing lines of finished product.
• Locates material into finished goods as needed.
• Packages finished product for shipment.
• Tracks orders and tags, follows bill of material for proper packaging.
• Performs setup of valve and burn off operations as required.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks to ensure safe, efficient production and housekeeping.
