Job summary

Smurfit WestRock in Fargo, ND seeks a Forklift/Clamp Truck Operator for 3rd shift. Entry wage range is $25.32–$25.83/hour with qualifying wage range $27.08–$28.45/hour. Incentives include shift differentials, weekly pay, quarterly bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Primary duties include:

Duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks, loading/unloading trailers, managing product inventories, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Required to pass a written and driving test to obtain forklift operator’s license.

Loading/unloading trucks, trailers and railcars safely and follow specific directions.

Occasionally required to fill out bills of lading, change fuel tanks on the lift and complete data entry.

Complying with all safety regulations and practices.

Pick up parts, paper, objects and residue off the floor and around workstations.

Ability to operate power hand tools.

Required to work daily overtime, weekend work and various shifts depending on workload.

Maintaining a clean work environment

Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations

Ability to push, pull, bend, squat, lift, reach, kneel, and stand for up to 12 hrs a day.

Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
