Job summary

Refresco is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Forklift Operator in Indiana to support production operations. The role involves loading/unloading materials, operating forklifts, and maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced plant environment.

The candidate should have forklift certification, basic computer skills, and familiarity with SAP VMU to track inventory and materials flow, with overtime for peak periods and varied shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Forklift certification is required by Refresco.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Must be able to perform basic computer functions.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety policies, GMPs, and PPE requirements in warehouse/production areas.
• Load and unload raw materials from trucks and transport to designated areas.
• Validate quantities using Blind Count Sheets or SAP transactions on forklift computer.
• Operate SAP and VMU on forklifts to manage inventory and materials flow.
• Load/unload trucks and perform all other warehouse functions in SAP with forklift.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and maintain forklift safety.
• Supply raw materials to production lines as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip forklift inspections and manage battery/propane changes safely.
• Perform other driving activities as directed by leadership.
• Keep work areas clean and represent the company positively.
• May perform production machine operation duties.
