Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for loading and unloading product from trailers, and ensuring safe handling per PWMs.

The role requires forklift operation, temperature checks for refrigerated items, and accurate reporting of shortages or damage. The position involves working in freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse environments and requires commitment to safety, accuracy, and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to read and follow PWMs and safety rules.
• Able to communicate issues to supervisor clearly.
• Must be able to lift up to 50-100 pounds and operate MHE safely.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound product from trailers onto the dock using material handling equipment per PWMs.
• Reconfigure inbound pallets for RDC storage and ensure product integrity.
• Load product onto trucks per truck mapping and special instructions; maintain load stability.
• Inspect product for shortages or damage and report issues to supervisor.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely, adhering to safety rules.
• Follow temperature controls for refrigerated/frozen products and record readings.
