Job summary

GAF is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to support safe, efficient loading and unloading, order picking, and verification. You will coordinate with the Shipping Lead, prepare products for shipping, and ensure accurate packing and palletization in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and teamwork with Logistics to meet delivery schedules. Schedule is Monday to Friday 2:30PM–10:30PM with possible OT or weekends.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast paced, logistics manufacturing environment.
• 6 months of GAF experience in Logistics and Shipping position- (Warehouse I) Required.
• Experience supporting logistics, customer care and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Practices incident and accident prevention, demonstrating safe behavior in all activities.
• Obtains and maintains fork-truck certification by attending in-house training, and completes daily fork truck check sheets.
• Drives the forklift safely through the warehouse mindful of pedestrian traffic at all times.
• Ships according to FIFO principles on all items in the warehouse to ensure shelf-life efficacy.
• Prepares product for shipping by reviewing the packing slip and hand picking the product.
