Job summary

GAF in Gainesville, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to handle order picking, packing, and forklift operation. You will follow FIFO, ensure safety, and work a 2:30PM–10:30PM shift with possible OT.

The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will maintain forklift certification, assist with cycle counting, and coordinate with Logistics for timely shipments.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED (implied, not strictly required)
• Minimum 3 years in fast-paced logistics environment
• Experience in logistics and shipping roles
• Hazmat knowledge or certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Follow fork truck procedures for loading/unloading
• Perform order picking and packing; verify accuracy
• Maintain safe, clean work area and comply with safety policies
• Operate forklift safely with attention to pedestrian traffic
• Support cycle counting and inventory deadlines
• Prepare pallets and load vehicles according to weight limits
• Review packing slips and ensure correct items are shipped
