Job summary

NGK Ceramics in Mooresville, NC is seeking a Warehouse Operator to verify incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. You will operate forklifts, verify items against bills of lading, and ensure accurate documentation and safe handling at the Mooresville site.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, route items to departments, and using Epicor CMS ERP software. Requires 6 months warehousing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid forklift license; CRC Bronze

Qualifications

• Must be able to successfully complete all required job training.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 month manufacturing/warehousing experience or equivalent.
• CRC Bronze or above.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift or uses hand truck to move shipments.
• Compares identifying information and counts; weighs or measures items and verifies against bills/invoices.
• Unpacks incoming shipments; rejects damaged items; records shortages; communicates with shipping companies.
• Loads or unloads materials; stacks pallets; maintains location accuracy.
• Drives a 24 foot truck within site gates; performs safety inspections of lift truck.
