Job summary

Big Tool Box Inc. is seeking a Receiving/Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Receiving and Warehouse team, ensuring 100% receiving accuracy and flawless backroom organization from dock to sales floor.

You will audit receipts and invoices, manage backroom processes, coordinate deliveries, and pursue vendor credits. This role offers leadership opportunities with RF admin rights, forklift responsibility, and a clear path to Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s in logistics/supply chain a plus.
• 2+ years receiving/warehouse leadership experience.
• Experience with Sort & Segregate, BOPUIS fulfillment, AP reconciliation, and vendor credit pursuit.

Responsibilities

• Train and schedule Receiving/Warehouse staff and Delivery Drivers on counting, forklift safety, paperwork standards, Sort & Segregate, and BOPUIS protocols.
• Conduct daily huddles and weekly 1:1s; recognize perfect trucks and coach discrepancies immediately.
• Audit 100% of high-value receipts and 30% of all receipts; verify counts, scans, damages, and ASN exceptions.
• Match invoices to PO, receiving report, and BOL; resolve discrepancies within 48 hours.
• Oversee Sort & Segregate daily process; separate salvage, recyclable, hazardous waste, and RTV items.
• Audit 100% of BOPUIS picks and staging weekly; verify SKU, quantity, and condition before notification.
• Maintain receiving paperwork, 5S standards, and velocity-based slotting; schedule deliveries and store transfers.
• Aggressively pursue vendor credits (shorts, damages, mis-ships) and recover funds.
• Publish weekly dashboards on receiving accuracy, credits, and BOPUIS fulfillment; lead cost-reduction projects.
• All other duties as assigned by store management.
