Job summary

ASPM - All Service Plastic Molding in Vandalia, OH is looking for a Materials Handler to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between production cells and departments.

You will review production schedules, communicate with cell leaders to determine material requirements, provide in-plant transfer of materials, stock the aisle and staging area, and assist press operators during breaks while maintaining accurate labeling and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months to 2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Valid Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Reviews production schedules and communicates material requirements to Cell/Shift Leads.
• Provides in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.
• Move production product to press area and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
• Stock and organize supplies in stocking aisle and staging area.
• Provide relief for press operators during breaks and lunch periods.
