Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Material Handler for our Fort Mill, SC location. The role involves unloading shipments, directing movement within the warehouse, and recording transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

A forklift certification and a valid driver’s license are required, with potential hazardous material handling certification as well. Starting pay is $21.09 per hour, with pay increases every six months based on performance.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform simple calculations.
• Experience with or willingness to learn Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Unload and direct movement of shipments from shipping/receiving to storage and work areas.
• Verify and record incoming/outgoing shipments in the WMS.
• Assemble and prepare packing slips, labels, bills of lading, and other documents.
• Operate a forklift and maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
• Assist with replenishing stock from reserve locations as needed.
• Perform duties after hours or driving tasks as needed.
