Job summary

Ambient Recruiting partners with a food manufacturing company in Holland, MI seeking a qualified Material Handler. You will service lines with material requests for raw materials and finish products, and generate the appropriate paperwork.

The role involves operating in dry storage, cooler, and freezer environments and requires forklift certification and proper safety practices. Compensation starts at $25 per hour with placement-to-hire, overtime opportunities, and benefits/bonus after

Qualifications

• English proficiency required and able to communicate clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic math and use computer systems for records.

Responsibilities

• Service kitchen and production lines with material requests for raw materials and finish goods.
• Accurately pick and record production orders and generate paperwork.
• Use computer terminal to look up inventory information.
• Assist with unloading and storage of received material and ingredients as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of dry storage, cooler and dock areas.
• Follow forklift safety procedures and load capacity rules; ensure workplace safety.
