Job summary

Zep Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to manage site maintenance and repair of production equipment and facilities. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and timely repairs for industrial cleaning production lines.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnostics, PMs, and potential minor design/operational improvements. Strong reading/writing skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach are essential in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is required.
• High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven and able to work with limited supervision.
• Able to read, write, and comprehend business documents such as manuals and work orders.
• 2–3 years in maintenance and production within a manufacturing environment, including PLCs or robotics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose equipment problems, and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on operating equipment, production packaging, and related facilities.
• Minor design and operation of new/used equipment for operations improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using the computer management system (CMMS).
• Perform duties as specified by the Supervisor/Manager.
