Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Store Associate to support customer orders and store operations. You will pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill orders with accuracy, participate in safety protocols, and assist customers by directing them to the right associates.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of computer and retail technology experience, hold or are willing to obtain forklift and related certifications, and enjoy teamwork in a fast-paced home improvement environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Powered Equipment Certification required (Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck) or obtained if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time; keep staging areas clean and safe.
• Deliver excellent service by selecting high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App, maintain SIMS compliance, and partner with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits, order follow-ups, and locker management; report safety or theft concerns promptly.
• Achieve daily job responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork.
• May be assigned other duties to support business needs.
