Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions LLC is seeking a forklift operator to load and unload materials and transport them across the production floor. You will work with pallets, crates, and assorted containers, ensuring materials are moved efficiently and safely.

The role requires high attention to detail, reliable attendance, and strict adherence to safety and inventory procedures. You will perform equipment checks, document processes, and support general warehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Education And Experience

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Obtains copy of production schedule and transports material to and from designated areas in the facility.


• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crated around the storage/productions areas.


• Stacking goods in the correct areas, following inventory control instructions.


• Checking loads are secure.


• Stacking empty pallets.


• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the trucks battery and lubricating equipment.


• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.


• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.


• Dumping material into machine hoppers.


• Dump thrash into compactor.


• Complete all necessary paperwork with a high level of accuracy.


• Maintain excellent housekeeping practices in production area.


• Practice proper safety techniques.


• Complete general area maintenance duties on equipment as assigned. This may include help from the maintenance department when necessary.


• Follow all procedures and guidelines.


• Perform other duties as assigned and/or requested.

Education

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
