Summary of Position

Position requires proficiency in all warehouse functions. Responsible for safe and accurate loading of outbound trailers, configuring loads, and maximizing trailer utilization in a cost-effective, productive manner. Ability to load irregularly shaped packages effectively impacts daily freight costs. The truck must be loaded to prevent damage during transit. Decision-making skills are critical. The position involves operating handheld wireless computer terminals and/or truck-mounted terminals. The goal is to meet corporate on-time customer satisfaction objectives.

Shift Details: 3rd Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 pm to 6:30 am.

Pella Corporation Requirements

Essential Responsibilities

• Work safely in a fast-paced, congested environment where timely completion of tasks is essential, impacting customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Move large containers with restricted visibility using a PIV.
• Unload inbound freight and accurately locate products within the warehouse.
• Handle large and heavy products.
• Main responsibility: loading outbound trailers.
• Assist with other activities like final assembly as needed to meet customer demands.

Education and Experience

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally; up to 40 lbs. at shoulder level or above when handling products.
• Push or pull with up to 80 lbs. force occasionally.
• Perform tasks with coordination, including repetitive tasks for up to 10 hours per day.
• Perform elevated, stooping, kneeling, squatting, reaching, standing, and walking as required.
• Visual acuity for close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
