Job description

A Day In The Life

• Operator will drive either a straight truck or tractor-trailer to haul products locally or out of town. Responsibilities include spotting trailers for loading and unloading, performing truck duties as directed by the supervisor, which may include warehouse work.
• The role involves transporting products between shipping departments, moving parts, stocks, and other items between facilities, making over-the-road runs, loading and unloading flatbed trucks, staging on dock as needed, and keeping records such as shuttle move logs and daily vehicle inspection logs.
• Operators are expected to maintain the trucks through cleaning, checking oil, and general vehicle maintenance.
• Passing the Packing and Shipping Operator's Test is required.
• Satisfactory completion of Department of Transportation requirements is mandatory, including possessing a Class A CDL and a current medical certificate. The company will assist in adding the Haz-mat endorsement to the license.

What will help you thrive in this role?

• Ability to perform work for at least eight hours.
