Job summary

Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer with locations across the southeastern U.S. We are seeking a hardworking individual to haul materials, operate a Bobcat, and maintain plant housekeeping at our Wisconsin facility.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, certification in SMAW plus a valid driver's license, and basic experience with loading and moving materials in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Safety rules and quality processes must be followed for a safe work environment and product quality.
• Operate Bobcat to move insulation, wood and steel forms to production beds as needed.
• Load strand cages and move to beds, pull wire wagon, and transport vibratracs daily.

Responsibilities

• Follow Safety and Quality rules at all times.
• Operate Bobcat to deliver bulky materials to beds as needed.
• Load strand cages and move to beds; pull wire wagon after production beds.
• Transport vibratracs to/from bed and QC area daily.
• Wash screeds daily and clean production areas with power sweeper.
• Off load trucks for Material Control as needed.
• Dump trash and waste from dumpsters daily; dispose of materials properly.
• Pull magnet through roadways daily or as weather permits.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Summary of Primary Functions

Haul materials and supplies with a lift truck (Bobcat) that are too heavy or too bulky to be handled manually. Maintain general housekeeping of plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
• Operate Bobcat to deliver Styrofoam insulation, wood and steel forms, and other bulky materials to production beds as needed.
• Load strand cages and move to beds and pull wire wagon alongside production beds as needed.
• Transport vibratracs to and from bed and scrape area outside QC Lab daily.
• Wash screeds daily.
• Clean production areas using scrape bucket and power sweeper.
• Off load trucks for Material Control as needed.
• Dump trash, waste materials, etc. from dumpsters daily; dispose of piled trash, wood, insulation, strands, rubble, etc.
• Pull magnet through roadways daily or as weather permits.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Job Specifications or Qualifications

• Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Certified in AWS Positions: SMAW-3F and SMAW-4F, and a valid driver’s license.
• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
