Job summary

Tindall Corporation in the Southeast US is a leading precast concrete manufacturer seeking a Travelift Operator to support production by moving forms, loading materials, and staging finished members. Safety and quality rules must be followed to ensure a safe, efficient workflow.

You will operate the travelift, coordinate with crew, perform daily maintenance checks, and help maintain a clean storage yard. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; entry-level roles offered with benefits including

  • High School Diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maneuver Travelift to finishing area and to storage yard.
  • Wait for helper to hook-up member.
  • Position wooden blocks before stacking member.
  • Stack member without damage in storage yard.
  • Keep finishing area clear; move completed members to storage.
  • Perform other duties on pour when Travelift not needed, including dry finish or rework.
  • Fill out maintenance checklist daily; report issues with Travelift or repairs.
  • Fill out member storage location report daily and submit to scheduler.
  • Move wire mesh and long rebar into production areas.
  • Unload miscellaneous from trucks (wire, rebar, forms, etc.).
  • Rotate panels for sandblasting into A-racks and stage for storage.

Summary of Primary Functions
  • All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
  • Maneuver Travelift to finishing area and from finishing area to storage yard.
  • Wait for helper to hook-up member.
  • Wait for helper to position wooden blocks before stacking member.
  • Stack member without damaging or breaking the member in appropriate location in storage yard.
  • Keep finishing area clear on a daily basis, moving all members to storage that are complete.
  • Perform other duties required for pour when not needed on Travelift such as performing dry finish activities or rework as directed.
  • Fill out maintenance checklist daily and report to maintenance any problems with Travelift or anything in need of repair.
  • Fill out member storage location report and turn into scheduler daily.
  • Carry all wire mesh & long rebar into production areas.
  • Unload miscellaneous from trucks (wire, rebar, forms, etc.).
  • Rotate up all panels that require sandblast into A-racks & lower the pieces down and move to storage yard when they are done.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
