Warehouse Forklift Operator - Shift A

We are seeking a Full Time Forklift Operator - Shift A at our Kennesaw, GA location. This role involves working in a cold environment and performing various warehouse duties.

Position Summary

The forklift operator will operate material handling equipment, working in temperatures from -10°F to 100°F. Responsibilities include receiving and storing finished products, pulling, staging, and loading products for shipment, and conducting cycle counts. Effective communication with internal departments is required.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping and Receiving

• Ship, receive, and supply materials following procedures.
• Inspect pallets for integrity and cleanliness.
• Tag pallets appropriately.
• Load and unload trucks/trailers.
• Check trailer and material temperatures as required.
• Pull and stage materials for transfer between facilities.

Material Handling

• Check pallet and product conditions during receiving, shipping, and transferring.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Pull, scan, and transfer materials as instructed.
• Report damages or discrepancies immediately.
• Perform scanner transactions and follow storage procedures.
• Ensure accuracy in documentation and counts.
• Follow safety procedures and conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Adhere to GMPs, departmental procedures, and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience

• Forklift certification (in-house preferred).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Computer skills for data entry and lookup.

Shift Details

• Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pm
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays
