Job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise while ensuring efficiency and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to transport materials safely and efficiently.
  2. Load and unload trucks, shipments, and pallets in compliance with warehouse procedures.
  3. Store materials and products in designated locations within the warehouse.
  4. Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  5. Assist in inventory control by scanning and logging materials in warehouse management systems.
  6. Follow safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
  7. Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet productivity goals and deadlines.
  8. Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  2. Valid forklift certification/license (or willingness to obtain one).
  3. Ability to lift and carry heavy loads up to 50lbs.
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  6. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required.
