Job summary

Scot Forge, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Forge Utility Worker to join our Forge Department. This entry-level role offers hands-on training, skill development, and long-term career growth in manufacturing.

You will work with employee-owners producing world-class forgings for aerospace, defense, energy, and infrastructure. The position operates on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3:40 PM to 2:30 AM, with a 10% shift premium.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, forgings, and scrap throughout the production area using industrial equipment.
• Load and unload furnaces while supporting forging and cooling cycles.
• Verify material identity and inspect materials before processing.
• Fuel and operate designated equipment, including forklifts and material-handling equipment.
• Grind material defects and perform basic repair work using welding and grinding equipment.
• Support forge crews and assist with production activities as needed.
• Remove scrap materials and maintain clean, organized work areas.
