Job summary

Forged Solutions Group, Custom Alloy Division in High Bridge, NJ, seeks a Forge Tooling Technician to support tooling and die maintenance, organize documentation, and assist in project coordination. On-the-job training will develop skills across tooling, die technology, and inventory processes.

Responsibilities include interpreting shop prints, aiding basic engineering tasks, and ensuring accurate die storage and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills, with a willingness to learn Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to read and write in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating staff and resources for projects.
  • Support the maintenance of inventory records.
  • Help with the organization and maintenance of tooling manuals and templates.
  • Aid in compliance documentation upkeep.
  • Assist in basic engineering tasks and part modifications.
  • Support shop tasks prioritization.

  • Assist in recommending alternatives for missing or damaged tooling.
  • Support liner fit-up for production.
  • Learn to identify die types and dimensions accurately.
  • Perform other tasks as needed.

Summary

Forge Tooling Technician role involves providing support in various aspects of tooling and die maintenance, organization, and documentation.
