Precision Castparts Corp. seeks The Forge Helper to assist production personnel in forging operations, material movement, and equipment prep in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Paramount, CA.

You will help maintain safe, efficient production while learning forging processes. Required high school diploma; forklift certification preferred; ability to read work instructions; strong attention to detail; willingness to learn and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification and/or prior forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow production documents and procedures.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Support forging operations by assisting press and hammer crews.
• Prepare dies, tooling, and equipment for forging tasks.
• Sweep dies, lubricate tooling, and perform scale blowing.
• Operate furnace controls and set up forging tools.
• Read shop travelers, work instructions, and daily reports.
• Maintain production flow and minimize downtime.
• Follow safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping rules.
