Job summary

Owen Daniels is recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to lead the Forge Unit in a large manufacturing organisation. The role focuses on delivering production schedules, pursuing continuous improvement, safety, planning and team development.

Key duties include ensuring on-time delivery, coordinating resources, and driving cost and quality improvements across the forge operations. This permanent position offers progression and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing management experience with a focus on forge/production.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to develop a high performing team.
• Experience driving continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ability to interpret data and implement SPC/quality controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support GM to meet output, quality and cost objectives.
• Manage forge unit to meet production schedules and customer needs.
• Plan resources and priorities to achieve the production plan.
• Lead continuous improvement activities across the Forge Unit.
• Provide timely regular management reporting and data accuracy.
