Job summary

Race Winning Brands, Mentor, Ohio, is seeking a Forge Press Operator for 2nd shift to support forging through heat treat, finishing and shipping. You will work with the forge crew on die setups, machine operation, and finishing parts to exact standards.

Ideal candidates bring manufacturing experience, can stand for long periods, and demonstrate a strong safety and quality mindset. Health benefits, PTO, and 401(k) options are provided by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Put safety first and never pass on a defect, no matter what leaves your hands.
• Work like a pit crew and find better, faster and smarter ways to work.
• Assist the forge crew by moving, positioning and turning workpieces and helping install dies.
• Operate a band saw, snippers, lathe, mill and laser machine as needed, including programming a lathe for roughing.
• Grind, sand and finish parts by hand to remove cracks and prepare them for the next step.
• Load and unload blast units, heat treat ovens and crates for outside heat treating and shipping.
• Move product in wire baskets using a pallet jack and keep accurate documentation.
• Work with your team to meet customer expectations on quality and delivery.
• Take ownership of your work and look for ways to make it better.
• Help keep our workplace safe, organized and respectful.

Requirements

As a Forge Press Operator on our 2nd shift team in Mentor, you’ll help move forgings through each step of production, from forging and heat treat to finishing and shipping. You’ll work alongside the forge crew to run equipment, assist with die setups and prepare parts for the next stage. The quality and care you put into each part help us deliver the high-performance components our customers rely on.

What you bring:
