Job summary

RevMax Performance LLC seeks a Machine Operator to set up and run CNC mills, lathes, and drill presses for high-performance engine components. You will inspect parts with precision tools, follow drawings, and maintain clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, with responsibilities including offsets, basic measurements, and adhering to SOPs. Occasional heavy lifting and multi-site shifts are expected.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run machines from work orders, drawings, templates and layouts.
• Deburr machined parts and inspect parts during production and as finished goods.
• Check work using micrometers, calipers and digital height stands.
• Make simple CNC tool offset adjustments and inform Lead for complex changes.
• Follow work instructions and SOPs, using basic hand tools.
• Keep work area clean and organized, including machines and surroundings.
• Take ownership of work and seek improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Support a safe, respectful, and productive workplace.

Requirements

As a Machine Operator in Mentor, OH, you’ll set up and run CNC mills, CNC lathes, drill presses and other machines that make our high-performance engine and driveline parts. We have openings on all shifts. You’ll work closely with your Lead and Supervisor, checking your work and keeping equipment running well. Your care and accuracy help make sure every part meets the standards racers count on.

What you’ll do:

• Put safety first and never pass on a defect, no matter what leaves your hands.
• Work like a pit crew and bring innovation to finding better, faster and smarter ways to work.
• Set up and run machines from work orders, drawings, templates and layouts.
• Deburr machined parts and inspect parts during production and as finished goods.
• Check your work with micrometers, calipers and digital height stands.
• Make simple machine and CNC tool offset adjustments and let your Lead know when more complex adjustments are needed.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures, using small hand tools as needed.
• Keep your area clean, including wiping down machines, sweeping and clearing trash, scrap, skids and boxes.
• Take ownership of your work and look for ways to make it better.
• Help keep our workplace safe, organized and respectful.
