ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a Forestry Technician 3 to work on-site in Vancouver, WA. The role collects, analyzes, and manages forestry data, supports timber appraisal and resource management, and collaborates with engineers and stakeholders on capital projects.

Qualifications include forestry-related education, GIS/GPS proficiency, and MS Office. This contract position requires strong analytical skills and multi-tasking across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, Geography or Environmental planning preferred.
• 6 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree; 8 years with an Associate's; 10 years without a degree or applicable degree.

Responsabilités

• Provide information tracking of owned timber and timber stands.
• Collect forestry data (diameter, height, volume, defects) for construction projects.
• Perform data entry and analyze field data in standard databases.
• Inspect timber and brush removal activities on-site.
• Help manage timber-related studies and marketing of timber resources.
