Starting pay is $22.29/hour with raises to $24.63/hour over 3.5 years, plus possible COLA and longevity adjustments. Candidates should be prepared for varied outdoor work and teamwork in a state forest setting.

Qualificações

• Formal education in arithmetic including fractions, decimals & percentages; reading, writing & measuring in English.
• 9 months training or 9 months experience operating heavy motorized equipment (e.g., dozers, rollers, excavators, dump trucks) and related safety practices; valid commercial driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Operates heavy motorized equipment to perform construction and maintenance tasks.
• Supports wildfire activities including line construction, trails, culverts, and road work.
• Performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings/grounds.
• Assists with wildfire suppression and prescribed fire support.
