Starting pay is $22.29 per hour with increases over the first 3.5 years and potential COLA/longevity pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A Commercial Driver's License with no restrictions.
• Experience operating heavy motorized equipment for construction/maintenance.
• Must successfully complete Basic Firefighter Introduction to Fire Behavior (S-130/S-190) during probation.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy motorized equipment for construction and maintenance functions.
• Performs wildfire support including forest fire line construction, trails, culverts, roads and bridges.
• Performs general maintenance and repairs on equipment and buildings/grounds.
