RoyOMartin in Louisiana seeks a Forester to support budgeting, planning, and execution of forestry operations for Forestry Services clients and stumpage sales of fee timberland. You will perform field and office duties, including inventories, GPS data collection, boundary marking, and reporting, collaborating with clients, contractors, and vendors.

A bachelor’s in forestry and a strong safety record are required; proficiency with Microsoft Office and ArcGIS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in forestry
• Outstanding safety record in all aspects of previous employment
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ArcGIS software
• Experience in conducting performance assessments and applying appropriate control measures; timber-sales administration and inspections; and forest measurements

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

To support the budgeting, planning, and execution of forestry operations, primarily for Forestry Services clients and for outside stumpage sales of fee timberland.

• Frequent communication with Forestry Service clients – existing and potential
