Qualifications

• An associate’s degree in forest technology or equivalent forestry education.
• Educational requirements can be met within 3 months of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Boundary marking for timber sales and habitat treatments as directed.
• Timber evaluation and volume computations per forester prescriptions.
• Field data collection for stand analysis and sale layout.
• GPS data collection and map production for forester approval.
• Maintain tools and equipment used in forest habitat management.
• Perform assigned wildland fire duties.
