Port Blakely is seeking an Operations Forest Engineer to join the U.S. Forestry Operations team.
Based in or near Longview, Kelso, or Vancouver, WA, the role supports harvest unit and road design, project engineering, and forest activities across WA and OR with travel to field sites. You will provide technical engineering support and assist Area Managers with pits, while staying adaptable and detail-focused.
Port Blakely is looking for an Operations Forest Engineer to join our U.S. Forestry Operations team. This role supports harvest unit design and layout, road design and construction, project engineering and implementation, and other tree farm activities across Washington and Oregon. You will provide technical engineering support and assist Area Managers with forest borrow pits and commercial rock pits. Strong field judgment, attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are key in this role.
As part of our Operations Team, you will report to the Director of Operations. This role will be based in or near the Longview, Kelso, or Vancouver, Washington area, which provides central access to our tree farms in Washington and Oregon. The position includes some time in our Tumwater operations office and frequent travel to field sites.
