Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in horticulture, agriculture, or forestry (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in nursery operations with leadership experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and willingness to learn our inventory/shipping system.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills under pressure.
• A genuine passion for growing things and a commitment to a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and control daily seedling production activities.
• Direct and develop the growing team and ensure safe work practices.
• Collaborate with Nursery Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to meet production targets.
• Develop nursery work plans, monitor productivity, and adjust sow/oversow factors as needed.
• Oversee budgeting, material coordination, and maintenance programs.
• Support risk management, quality control, and compliance with regulations.
